Mercurial 1.4.1 was released last week. It’s obviously a minor update compared to what 1.4 was, but it does include a really neat built-in extension: schemes Let’s say you are like me and want to push your code up to your project’s Kiln repository. nanoc is a tool that runs on your local computer and “compiles” documents written in HTML, Markdown, Textile, Haml, etc. into a static web site, ready for uploading to any web server.

New site that connects designers and developers for Mac, iPhone or Web-based projects. Looks nice, but I’m perfectly content with my two current designers, William Wilkinson and Marcelo Marfil.

“Wolf” Rentzsch walks you through disabling the quarantine and how to remove the quarantine xattrs from existing files. Wolf’s new blog has quickly moved into my very exclusive Must Read folder in NetNewsWire.
