ITS A BLOODY REVIEW

I went and saw the new Charlie’s Angels movie with Willmore last night. For those Fastlane fans, both of the Angels movies are directed by McG. You can easily tell this by all the vivid use of colors, camera usage, etc. I won’t lie though, I was very intrigued with the mix of action and incredibly hawt ladies (Barrymore = my fav).

This movie, unlike the first, tried to have a deeper plot. There was the inner conflict with Dylan (Drew’s character) trying to do the right thing and leave the angels for her friend’s sake. There was Demi Moore’s character coming back as a fallen Angel.

This movie picked up a lot of the past more than the other as well. The biggest was again with Barrymore’s character. The Helen Zass jokes weren’t that funny to me, but the five thirteen year olds in the theater couldn’t shut up about it. Those weren’t the worst jokes, however.

Bernie Mac was a far better Bosley than Bill Murray. In my opinion, Murray just isn’t as funny as he used to be. Mac, on the other hand, was incredibly funny. The best moments were when he was put up with his mother. It happens all the time in movies, but it’s always funny to see the guy wimper at the sight of his hard ass mom.

Anyway, the movie was fun to watch. If you are looking for an oscar award winning movie, get real. If you just want to be entertained, go for it.
