PocketTweets: Twitter For Your iPhone
Monday, July 9, 2007
I’m pleased to announce the release of PocketTweets - a Twitter client for the iPhone. I co-developed the application with Bobby Andersen of The Pixel Implosion because we both wanted a better Twitter experience on the iPhone.
Using PocketTweets you can update your Twitter status, see your friends’ statuses, view direct messages and watch the public timeline. You can try it out by visiting http://www.pockettweets.com directly from your iPhone. We’ve got plans to add in a lot of other stuff in the future, but we think it’s a solid foundation to build upon.
The application is free to use, but donations are being accepted. We hope you like it.
Please help us out and Digg this or post it to del.icio.us

Christopher MacMinn says:
Bravo — PocketTweets is very nice. Request: a live (or quasi-live) word count would be nice. Or at least a warning when my tweet is too long? It currently gets truncated.

Justin Williams says:
Hit the return key and it will update the count. There’s no support for onkey events on the iPhone, so I can’t do a “real” live update.
